Another environmentally friendly product made before that is even a thing. Things are still best when they are built to last, the makers probably also wanted to make sure it stays aesthetically attractive thus the use of different bamboo cuttings to create variations of texture for the box. A simple colour hand-painted plum blossom was also added to the front of the box, symbolising perseverance and the overcoming of adversity.
Age: Vintage from 1980-90’s
Dimension:9.5cm x 7cm x 17.3cm
Condition: Almost good as new, no visible cracks or damage to the tea caddy. Some wear and tear but the painting of plum blossom in great condition.
