Vintage tea caddy made in Swatow, Teochew region where they drink quite a bit of oolong. Main body of the box is made of bamboo, the interior is lined with a layer of tin foil to help preserve the freshness of tea stored in it. Four Chinese character reads “ Zhong Guo Ming Cha” meaning famous tea of China and is accompanied by a green bamboo artwork.

Age: 1980’s

Dimensions: 14 x 6.8 x 10 (cm)

Condition: No cracks on chips observed, expect some evidence of wear and tear.
